WOW. Literally one of the best AYCE sushi restaurants I’ve had in Orange County. Upon walking in, you can see how sleek, modern, and minimalistic this spot is. The service is efficient and all of the servers are very accommodating. We went on a Wednesday night and it was very packed, but we easily secured a spot at the bar. We ordered the omakase menu which comes with 9 pieces of the chef’s special along with their AYCE menu. The omakase was delicious - we loved the Toro as it was heavenly and melted in your mouth! They also offer ramen here, which is pretty unique and a nice pick me up when you want to take a break from the fish. From the regular AYCE menu, I thoroughly enjoyed the salmon carpaccio (can only be ordered once) and the hamachi nigiri. Will definitely come back to X-Fish for my next date night or gathering!
I've been here 4 times now, and every time has been great! The sushi is delicious; I love the small portions so you won't get full quickly. The udon, ramen, and side dishes also pretty good. If it's very busy, of course food may take a bit longer to come out. You gotta be strategic when your order. I'll usually order my next order when I receive my current one. I highly recommend this place! (:
We came in for lunch on a Friday and chose their Lunch AYCE menu which cost $27.99 (this option is only available from Monday to Friday).
We got situated and they told us there was a limit of 3 rounds to order the nigiri sushi, each round we were limited to only order 20 pieces (seems like 10 pieces per person is the max for each round). So I wouldn’t say the nigiri sushi is truly an AYCE. But you can order unlimited sushi rolls by scanning the QR code they gave you.
The wait for each order is very long, we waited 20 minutes to get our first 20 pieces of nigiri order and 45 minutes for the sushi rolls. Not sure how strict they are with their 90-minute time limit, but thankfully we got all of our orders right on the 90-minute mark.
Favorite menu
🍣Sakura Roll (no rice roll): This one is our favorite sushi roll. It’s so good!
🍣Salmon nigiri
🍣 Mackerel nigiri
🍣 Yellowtail nigiri
All in all, love the rice-to-fish ratio, it’s perfect. The price is okay. However, I wish they could maybe hire more chefs to help reduce the waiting time.

X Fish, a new all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant, has been open for just a month and is still ironing out some issues. We experienced a long wait at noon despite many open tables, likely due to troubles with a new computer ordering system they started using that day. The sushi was surprisingly good, and the spicy miso ramen was decent too. I would consider bringing my family next time.
They have a wide selection of good quality sushi. It’s nice because you can literally try everything without ordering too much. The orders come out pretty fast too. Would definitely come back again! Love the ambiance!
