I visit this spot a lot since I work close by. I love how their customer service is always fantastic and they keep the spot well organized consistently. Pricing is fair and they serve big portions.

This is like a Sichuan style chili oil on chicken with rice fast casual place.

Prices are average bit the portions are a bit small to average.

It was fine butt won't be coming back.

It's a one dish restaurant concept centered around their braised chicken rice dish. Each bowl goes for $10 and you can select between 3 levels of spicy: no spicy, authentic, hot. They also offer a small menu of tea and boba for about $4-5.

I tried the authentic and the spiciness level toed the line between I can almost handle this and this is too hot. I don't think the dish itself was too bad and it reminded me of a home-cooked dish my mom would make. The only things I had a problem with were that the dish was a tad oily for me (due to chicken thigh meat used), I didn't like the type of rice used (jasmine would have tasted better), and I had to navigate around a lot of pieces of ginger and chili chopped up and mixed in (I like the flavor these provide but I typically just take it out when I eat). I did like the dish better with the rice mixed in and after I've taken out the flavoring elements as the chicken and mushrooms are tasty. I'd recommend dining in to eat this out of the stone pot as is intended. I got this as take out and feel that maybe I didn't have the optimal experience.
