    Friendly staff and good breakfast options. They are great with substitutions. I only wish their fruit was more ripe.

    I've been to the Irvine location and South Coast. Both are fantastic. Great food and excellent service.

    Ruby's is the 50s diner for today. This one plays real black and white footage from days long gone, has friendly service, relaxed atmosphere, and reliably good diner food with a few unexpected treats like beignets or fried green beans. Shakes are thick and delicious. The place gets folks with children, early birds like me hankering for a malt waffle, or friends meeting for a bite. It's nice to get food that isn't overpriced and is reminiscent of a "simpler" past.

    The Thanksgiving Burger is absolutely amazing. It's a bit of mess, but not the worst mess I've ever made from a meal. And the pumpkin shake was a great dessert. This Ruby's is a very nice store with a great crew making sure patrons are well taken care of. Clean, slick, and yet still that 40's and 50's diner feel. The theme here is cars and fashion, which is appropriate to the shopping center. If you're in the mood for a treat, Ruby's can deliver!
