The fish tacos are delicious. The Cajun beans are perfect, although there was a disagreement as to whether they were actually better than the black beans. Plenty of food, burritos were gigantic. Outdoor seating is a must. Enjoy. Exceptional food selection, cheap wine prices and no constant questions about a dessert.
I have been eating here since they opened. I personally don't like fish. But I love their fish tacos. I have no idea what they do to get out the fishy flavor of fish but they have never let me down. Possibly because it's all wild caught never farmed. I saw that on a sign durring this trip.
Either way the food is health and tastes great every time. My favorite tacos from any resteraunt in the world....and they're fish. Strange but true. PS it looks like a rundown shack but don't let that discourage you. It's amazing!
I've enjoyed Wahoo's for years. Their blackened fish tacos pair perfectly with the unique and tasty rice and beans. Add the very reasonable prices and Wahoo's is a 5 out of 5 in my book!
This is the original Wahoo's as begun by Wing Lam in Costa Mesa. Just an old converted house plastered with innumerable surf//skate/ride stickers. It has all the great signature dishes by Wahoo's. One of the best fish tacos, but I like the Maui Bowl of fish+rice+beans just as much.
Great food let me say that again great food. Very comfortable very relaxing I left extremely full. Lot of food for the money. Good times for all great family atmosphere. What more could you ask for. Make a point to go there you won't be disappointed
