NORMS Restaurant

I've been going to this norms for 30 years. it's always been one of my favorite places to eat. it's where my kids learned "table manners", and how to behave in a restaurant.
this visit was a little disappointing. the prices have gone up quite a bit in the past year. the food took nearly an hour to arrive at our table, and some of our party was half done eating, by the time we all had a plate.
the server was very nice, as always.

This place was very good!! The inside was spacious and clean. The portions were large and reasonably priced. We went on a Saturday night and it wasn’t too busy that we had to wait on a table. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our food came out in a timely manner and was delicious.

Pork chop marinated for 2 days, cooked medium (don't worry, no pink) so as to not dry it out, makes for an amazing dinner! Also great breakfast. French Toast is good, thick and moist. The homemade country sausage patty is great. The country fried steak is good. I recommend loading up your hashbrowns with the delicious extra toppings. The coffee is average.

Old fashioned diner type inexpensive food. The place is always busy because they do a competent job in their menu, environment and service. Never a meal to remember, but always a solid cheap breakfast.

I really love Norms. Its American comfort food to me. I had been up all night working and I needed to catch my bearings before driving home and there was Norms! My waiter was very nice and did a wonderful job making sure I had everything I needed, napkins, sauces, prompt check and a to go beverage. The steak n eggs were good but the experience was great. Thanks!
