    If you like gyutan (beef tongue) this place will be your favorite! This place is in Mitsuwa market so there is enough space for parking and seating too. I and my friend went there around 11:00am and there were already many people in the market.

    We ordered Tsukasa set($12). This set includes salad, rice, soup, tororo(potato), beef tongue stew, 2kind of tsukemono(Japanese pickles), and 4pc of grilled beef tongue.

    Everything is really tender and you can enjoy different flavors! This got me so full but it was not greasy at all so you won't feel bad!! I'll definitely going back!

    After years of other stores that failed in the same spot, Gyutan has the taste and quality down prefect! Consistently delicious, the best in this food court, and always fills you up. Prices creeping up, so $13-18~ per person nowadays for the basic gyutan meals. But well worth the price when you do want a tasty dinner.

    Pricey at 8 pieces with rice for about $14 all-in cash but perfectly grilled gyutans are worth it. Each bite is savory, delicious, and comforting. I should remember to swing by this food stall inside the Mitsuwa Marketplace next time I'm in Irvine.

    tongue is amazing. tasty. very consistently good. never a bad experience. it's inside the mitsuwa so parking is terrible and it's cash only.
