Native Foods Cafe

Mediocre food for the LA region. It is vegan comfort food and I have seen better. My son and husband did enjoy their desserts - a peanut butter parfait and a mocha cupcake.

My wife and I were on a business trip and had a free evening to spend with another couple. My wife did a little research and found the Water Grill. We were blown away by the experience. The food and ambiance were top notch, but what separates the good and great restaurants is the service and the Water Grill hit that out of the park. Stephanie our waitress was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, gave great recommendations, and was incredibly kind to us. The manager Eliza stopped by and was also fantastic. We greatly enjoyed and were appreciative of such a fantastic experience.

The hostess was very helpful! It was my first time there and she suggested the chicken sandwhich with chips inside and it was amazing! The whole place is a vegan paradise!

Native foods manages to make good food completely vegan. Honestly the secret is in the sauce and them relying on it to give the food flavor. This is not so bad tho. The food is good! However it is much too pricey. I spend the same amount here as I would spend at a medium prices fine restaurant. And in my opinion this place is not that. It doesn't have table service and you pay first as well as seat yourself. You also get your own water and condiments. This is not a problem but it doesn't justify the pricing of the food.
