They serve Picanha!!! Enough said. Got the Picanha plate which came with rice, beans and a salad. Everything was amazing and I’ll be back to try the Picanha sandwich. Highly recommended
Only busy restaurant in this plaza. I got the steak plate and my kids got the sandwiches. Food is simple but good. Don’t forget to order the hot cheese balls.
Located inside Metro Point in Costa Mesa (right across South Coast Plaza's western pavillion), Brazuca Cafe is a small family-owned Brazilian restaurant specialized in "street food". As a result, service is pretty fast, but that doesn't come at the expense of food quality, which is very high. We tried a beef pastel, a Picanha (steak) sandwich, and a basket of Coxinhas (fried potato and chicken balls). Everything was delicious! The meat inside the sandwich was tender and very tasty, despite the moderate price (we've tried much more expensive steak sandwiches in other restaurants that were nowhere near as good). We also tried a pineapple and coconut dessert cup and espresso coffee. Also very delicious. The service was excellent, and everyone was kind and attentive. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.
Okay, so I saw an ad for this place by the parking structure and had a little time before my movie and thought, why not? WOW! Have you ever walked into a place and felt everything shift? They have it all set up for Valentine’s Day, and there are so many cute and tasteful little choices in decor that all come together so nicely and make a perfect little spot for a casual date or meal with a friend. I was so excited to try their Pastel (Brazilian hand pies) but I didn’t realize they’d be deep fried!!! They were so flaky and crispy and the flavors were perfect for both the savory beef and the sweet banana pastel. The pineapple mint juice was fresh and sweet and foamy and went so nicely with both pastels. Everyone working there was incredibly friendly and attentive and I cannot *wait* to come here again with friends or a date and try more menu items!
We happened upon Brazuca Cafe as I was interested in having a good cup of coffee. After looking over the menu and seeing the interesting croquette choices in the display cases, we decided to try a couple of small bites. Everything was very tasty and I am very interested in coming back to try the thin crust pies and desserts.
