We came here multiple times and during lunch hours, be ready to wait 15-20 mins. This time, we ordered different noodle dishes to try. I would say sticking to the traditional beef noodle or the minced pork dried noodle (“Za Jiang” meaning a mixture of sauces). They use Sichuan chilly oil, peppercorn and soy sauce to make the soup base, and I feel it is pretty legit.
There are several cold dishes like woodear mushroom that is good to try (very garlicky, sour and a bit spicy). For dessert, we ordered Sichuan Ci Ba which is a sticky rice dessert sprinkled with soy bean powder. Recommend!
Black fungus - delicious. Acidic/tart with a bit of heat.
Beef roll - crispy and tasty
Beef noodle soup with spare ribs- decent
Mapoe tofu - meh. Flavor lacked depth.
- Quick service
- clean interior with cute designs
- recommend their dried chengdu noodles and cold appetizer wood ear mushroom! both have a spicy kick and are immensely satisfying (you can choose your spice level for the noodles and wontons!)
I really enjoy food here! Me and my friend came here on weekday, so there were not too much people. We didn't have to wait and the experience was wonderful. They serve very authentic Chinese food!!
Pretty good authentic noodle spot. They have a ton of options and you can see the kitchen staff making all your food fresh. They bring everything out as it’s made so things come out separately to ensure you get your food as fresh as possible. The food was very good and tasty. We liked all the dishes we ordered. We had a really great server who was very nice and helpful. He was always checking on us and was even kind enough to replace a broth for us when we realized it had pork at no cost. However a female staff that was bringing our food to the table from the cooking area was rude to us a few times. She would say the order but very quietly while wearing a mask so when we would say oh sorry what was that? She would repeat it but would snap it at us in a rude way and would just drop it on our table. It really threw us off how unfriendly she was which really left us a bad impression especially in contrast with our stellar waiter. Overall great place so only deducting 1 star due to the rude lady. The wait was not long at all, we only waited about 5 minutes for a party of 6. Plenty of free parking also available since it’s located inside the mall.
