When my family and I visited and had a great meal at Roys off Route 66 just over a week ago we learned that the family operating the nostalgic diner also owned this restaurant closer to my home in OC. We visited here for dinner and were delighted that it tasted just as good as the nostalgic stop we made at Roy's. The burgers were fresh and the crinkly fries cooked to perfection. The owners were very friendly as well.
This is a great place for getting a traditional breakfast. You want eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and toast, that's exactly what you'll get. Serving sizes are large and satisfying. I love that the hashbrowns are crispy and not mushy. Great place to meet up with a friend or family member and enjoy a meal together.
Tried this new place for breakfast. Menu looked good, restaurant was clean, staff was friendly. I really enjoyed my food but my hubby did not. His steak was flavorless and we had to ask 3 times for his toast. We will probably try it again some day but it’s not tops on our list.
I'm not a fan of fast food/Hamburger type places but I must admit that this superceded any place of this kind anywhere. I had an Omelet and my wife had tacos. Everything was freshly prepared and the flavors were spot on. The staff was fantastic and the place squeaky clean. For those of you that like "Challenges ", there's a quadruple cheese burger and fries challenge. You must eat the entire burger and fries in "FIVE" minutes. My wife says she could do it. I'm putting my money on "The Burger". She is 130 soak and wet with concrete shoes. Very relaxed atmosphere and great service and food.
First time eating there and the food was excellent. I really enjoyed that it was a total family unit running the business which made it very hospitable and pleasant. My boys order the double and triple hamburgers. These burger are true to size and not for the faint of heart. They even offer a mind blowing four patty hamburger that is called the, Heart Attack! The hamburgers were made by hand and cooked to perfection. I got the chicken wet burrito with red sauces. This burrito was loaded and they did not skimp on the chicken. You could tell that the beans were homemade and not from a can. Our over all experience was awesome!
