(March 23, 2019, 11:40 pm)The food is good, standard barbecue fare done well. The barbecue sauce is homemade, as is the cole slaw and other items. Pets are welcome on the patio.
The place is one of the oldest operating restaurants in Dana Point. If the amenities aren't five-star, Richie's, (and his staff,) warmth and hospitality are. If you come Thursday night, bring your axe for the jam. -

(February 25, 2019, 2:34 am)On the inside I found the Rib Joint to be cozy and clean. I had the brisket sandwich and fries and both were excellent. My server was really attentive and nice and the price was fair. So I had a great dinner with no complaints. #BBQ
