You get to cook your own food! You get to be the Decorated Michelin Star Chef! Oh man. It's like having a BBQ w/ your friends and everyone's invited! The atmosphere is something else. So many laughs and happy smiles. It's a welcoming environment. The servers are wonderful. Highly recommend.

This is our favorite restaurant in all of Orange county. It is always packed so I highly recommend calling ahead to reserve a table. Service here is always perfect. I recommend a table further inside and away from the door because it can get very breezy if you sit near the front door as people go in and out of the restaurant because every table has an overhead fan to suck out the smoke from the grills

First time for this location. The same amazing taste as the San Diego location years back. If you are looking for a quality Japanese bbq place, this is the one!

All the beef cuts are amazing!

We have been here a few times and the wait is always excruciating. Its Japanese BBQ, which to me is just like Korean BBQ, with minor differences. Either way neither is truly BBQ, as BBQ is a unique style of cooking over low temps with smoke, and this is not BBQ, this is grilling. The thing most people have in their backyard is not a BBQ, it is a grill. And what you do to your steaks at home is grilling, not barbecuing. Still here, you and your clothes still come out smelling nasty like smoke and meat. The beef is good quality and fresh, most cuts are nicely marbled. They have Sapporo on draft and a couple other bottled Japanese beers. Most of the clientele is Asian and seem to be taking pictures of their food. The side dishes are very good. Kimchi is good. The cold noodles were excellent, nice and extra chewy. Mushrooms were very good as well. I really liked the sesame ice cream. The Kobe is not real Kobe, no way it is. At that price point it is impossible, but it is really marbled.

The. Best. BBQ Place. I love the premium, and beef tongue, but the real highlight is the gold. Order it, in spades. Melt in your mouth good! I like to dip in both sauces, plus the lemon juice.

You’re always greeted with a smile. They can get very busy around 7-8pm. Free and easy parking in the lot in front. If it wasn’t such a trek from LA, I’d live here.
