FUN restaurant with playful sandwiches and Japanese flavors, and a whole lot of delicious deep fried options. I had the American Breakfast with extra freedom. AMAZING
Wow
I am stoked to write this review. I just finished the last bite and started writing.
Beyond my expectations.
For my first visit, I went with their "Original"
I didn't know what to expect. My order arrived and the portion was huge. Like Claim Jumper huge. You can really share a sandwich and be satisfied.
The original arrived with what looked like a 1/2 pound pork cutlet, expertly deep fried to a golden brown. The savory cutlet is dressed with a delicious derivative of BBQ sauce called tonkatsu sauce, topped with a light slaw.
All this is cradled by a freshly toasted Texas toast style bread that's french. This sandwich has girth. When I took the first bite, I could tell the ingredients were fresh and of good quality.
At $9 this is a great value. I cannot wait for my next visit and it's just 7 minutes from my buddy's house.
Highly recommend this joint. They do more than the average, a standout.
I'll be back.
If you like your Katsu with toppings in a sandwich, then you are in for a treat! I had the goat cheese sandwich and my boyfriend had the bacon avocado sandwich. They were both delicious and powerful flavors, but definitely not overwhelming. We enjoyed them with a side of regular fries and a drink, since we got the combo deals. We believe it's worth going again ????
It is a nice little sandwich shop in a rather rundown retail center. Other then that the sandwiches are good. And the potato puffs are to die for! Highly recommend the potato puffs. Just those are worth the trip!
Had the American Breakfast. It was really tasty. The staff were friendly and gave recommendations that turned out to be winners. Had a free high five for dessert, which apparently not too many people take advantage of. Would definitely recommend, at least once. I'll be back for more.
