Had the freshwater shrimp tom yum. Very good. Papaya salad laos style was very salty. Pad thai with freshwater shrimp was too dry, not enough sauce. Overall food was decent. Got an extra star for the amazing service. The waitress/proprietress was by herself, but was helpful, friendly, and quick.
This place is so good. Never disappoints. Pad see ew is my go to. I've never had papaya salad and although this had a kick that I don't normally like, the flavor was really, really good. I recommend this restaurant.
I wonder why this place is underated. We came in without any expectations because we were too hungry to care for an option. After finishing ALL of the dishes we ordered, all we can say is that Thai Avenue is extraordinary restaurant. I am sure you will be satisfied by anything you order in here. The staff is too friendly to be true. Will comeback for more of Thai food soon! Thank you Thai Avenue ????
So delicious! Staff is always so helpful and friendly. Their food is very filling and doesn't feel heavy.
Amazing pad thai. Seriously the best I've ever had. I've had a good share of pad thais over the years. This is my favorite. Now, why not a 5 star?
The big prawn is nice, but a bit gimmicky, all made up by the amazing sauce they give you to go along with. But still, gimmicky.
The other reason that it didn't get a 5 star was because we ordered 2 additional items that left us with some, how shall I say, eyebrow raising concerns. One, the fried rice (beef) was pretty bland, like big time.
And the chicken wings, which turned out to be tiny wings because they cut the 2-bone wings into 2 separate pieces. So you think you're getting wings, when instead you're getting "wings." They were pretty good, but that split the wing in 2 just seemed odd.
