Clean and airy atmosphere. Wonton noodle and beef chowfan are excellent. Egg tart and chimaphu are not too sweet but tasty.

To sum it up, Phoenix is as Cantonese as you can get in OC without having to go to cross county to LA. They serve up "fast-casual" Chinese Cantonese food. They have been around since the 60s in LA and have recently opened this OC location in 2015. They had some growing pains with slow service starting up in this community, but they seem to have gotten better since. The food here is at best consistent. I also just love that they open late. I always get their wonton noodle soup and HK Style Beef Noodle (chow fun). It's not the greatest, but it fills my cravings.

Quality of the drinks aren't as good, maybe it's this location? And they were out of everything this time I went. Super disappointing when you come here as a last stop before leaving LA to stock up on goodies for the road and they don't have any of the sweets that you want.

Have never been disappointed by this restaurant at this location. The lettuce wraps are delicious. The noodles could be better but otherwise I definitely recommend this place for lunches.

This is the freshest Chinese food you can get. The tangerine chicken is great. However, what you need to get are the mango rolls. This dessert is soft, fresh, coco-nutty, and the mangoes are always perfectly ripe. The desserts are what set this place apart.
