Not the most cleanest restaurant but their Boodae Jjigae and pork dooroochigi(?) Was really good. Best in OC?!
Although the name of the place is Gamja Tang, the pork neck soup may only be the runner up to the goat stew, the true champion of the kitchen. Our large party was able to try both in the family sized pots. The meat was tender, the seasoning was correct not salty. Low priced soju so bring your friends. When the soup is nearly done, stir on a side of noodles or the staff will whip up a fried rice with the sticky pot juices. Bueno!!
Gamjatang house was very reminiscent of the gamjatang restaurants I had in Korea. The gamjatang was great with tender pork. The menu says serves 2-3, but our part of 4 got full without even finishing it. Recommend this place highly!
Good yookaejang and pork neck bone stew ( gamja tang)
Choice spot to eat for gamjatang (Korean pork rib stew). If ordered as a casserole, they make rice at the end using leftover broth, which is also very good. They have a location in Buena Park as well.
