Mae's Cafe

Been coming here when it used to be called Jon's Cafe. Menu is the same and food overall is good for its value. Food quality and taste is usually pretty good here. Only on very rare occasions did I get food tasting worse than my expectations. They serve breakfast anytime. I ordered Eggs Benedict last night and it was better than expected. Lots of ham piled up and eggs were poached perfectly. Hollandaise sauce was creamy and consistent in texture. Potatoes and onions were a perfect complement and literally finished everything on plate with a nice bowl of fruit which I just ended up taking home. I would choose this place over Denny's if ever given the choice if I had to compare with a similar restaurant.

My grandparents and I love coming here for breakfast. Place gets super busy really quickly though. Service is awesome and quick. I love that they can accomadate my grandmas dietary restrictions. I've not had one problem with this place.

This was one of our favorite meals in Maine! Delicious Brussels sprouts hash! Very good food and quick service. Crowded but worth the wait. We bought a giant Whoopie pie and took it with us to Acadia- it was so delicious hours later. Highly recommended !
