Great Shabu Shabu/Hotpot restaurant. Place just opened and run by a local Vietnamese family. Came here on vacation from Pennsylvania so had a fair share of hot pot around the Philadelphia area to compare against. Right now they are running special being 10% off the bill and free soft drinks. The staff are very attentive and owners were super friendly. The auntie that helped me was great. They have a menu of meats and apps you can choose that are unlimited. She recommended just getting one of each to see what I’d like. The conveyor belt is a fun concept since you get the vegetables from there and you just have go to the bar for seafood and dip. I chose the satay seafood soup base which pretty much tasted like “Bun Mam” so very fishy / strong flavor. The Tom Yum soup tasted like “Canh Chua” so a nice spicy and sour kick. The whole experience was great and I hope to come back in the future.
Nice quality protein, both beef and seafood. Good broth and selection of sauces. Pretty busy since they are newly opened.
Shabu Restaurant is fully remodeled and everything was new to the details. Very large seating area that can accommodate any parties. The first day of opening was really packed. $32 per adult all you can eat is a fair price, Family loved their Tom Yum soup and Seafood Satay was very flavorful and that kick of spice, Wow!. The conveyor experience was pretty cool, plenty of vegetables that just kept coming and self serve sauce and fresh seafood area that was always filled. Meat was little slow as expected, but definitely worth the wait for the quality. Definitely will come back!!
The grand opening was a bit hectic but most grand openings are.
I felt so bad for the server Britney! She was the only server at the time but she did an amazing job. Trying to take care of everyone’s orders while also trying to check people out and still being so extremely nice is definitely a reason that I will be coming back
The food was actually really delicious! The sushi was pretty good but the beef satay was my absolute favorite! Had just enough spiciness and if you wanted it less spicy or more they were willing to help out. The assortment the had on the conveyor belt went from carrots and broccoli to mushrooms to fried chicken and dumplings!
