Whenever I visit CA, this is my favorite dine out place to eat.
1.A lot of selection of menu and most of them are pretty good.
2. Fresh side dishes and server ladies seem very busy, but always does their best to customers.
3. The owner lady is very sincere, honest and patient person. I saw many times that she asked some
weak and poor elderly people, whether they need more free rice or not.(as u know, extra rice is charged.) Seems like she always tries to take good care of every single customer.
She seems like working 365days for a year, but never expresses her tiredness or discomfort to her employees or customers due to her hard work.
4. No matter you are korean or not, they always bring you good quality of food with good manner.
5. Great portion of food with reasonable price.
Been going there since I was 10 years old now 28 years old food is still great. They also sell somewhere around 20 bucks for handmade dumpling packs.
Nice quiet restaurant with quick service and good food. Solid, traditional flavors all the way around and they do not skimp on the side dishes. Friend and I got the hangover soup and the classic sul lung tang (seems to be the most popular dish here). Food tastes great and service is fast but since there was only one person working here in the back when we went you might have some trouble if it’s your first time trying Korean and have some questions.
The place is really hide away, but i like the portion and price of this place, some side dish are good. The cold buckwheat noodle are a good dish to share, the bibimbap is also good but would want more meat though cause i like to eat meat more. I got full on just 1 dish, i got 3 dish for 3 people and it is a lot of food. Worth a revisit if i ever want some korean cold noodle. If they have gimbap it would be lot more interesting since i like to snack on gimbap if done right.
This is truly a "hidden" restaurant. food is amazing, and it helps if you know a little Korean, or be patient with the waitress trying to explain things to your English only friends who insisted on asking almost every menu items cuz they don't trust you ordering for them anymore. (because their level of spicy is barely above zero, and we are eating Korean food)
