My mom loves and I mean loves salted fish fried rice. You’ll find this at Chinese restaurants or Vietnamese restaurants with Chinese influence. Salted fish is basically the excess pieces like the cheeks and other areas that are broken and instead of throwing them away, you collect them all to make this dish. Or just use normal pieces of fish but tear them apart. It can also be pared with shrimp or chicken.

Well, this dish can be a hit or miss. Some places will make it with a very fishy smell and hard to eat. Or really salty. Or dry.

But at King’s Paradise, their salted fish fried rice is moist, flavorful, lots of fish and chicken.

We live in San Diego but kept seeing the commercials on Saigon Channel so we drove to OC to try this dish. We did it twice already.

It's a fairly new Vietnamese restaurant, opened just a couple of months ago. The place is clean and spacious, with a very friendly and likable young staff. The menu is a bit pricey compared to other similar restaurants in the area.

The Oxtail Pho was a bit tough and chewy, instead of being soft and tender. The Lemongrass Chicken was very spot on.

Danny the owner, brought out our Pho and was of the most friendly and personable owners that I have met in this area. All the food was superb, with the vegetables bright and fresh. Ge runs a right ship, as he diligently but compassionately, trained his employees. You can tell that he really cares about his Patrons and is so passionate about both the food and the service.
I overheard him addressing a table down from us and he asked them about their mom (who wasn't there). He is on a first name basis with many customers. This place is beautifully decorated and Danny's employees are professional, courteous and prompt.
I would highly recommend this place for it's food and I will return again and again because of Danny and his beautiful staff. Definitely 5 star dining at a reasonable price.

I've been looking for a new Pho place and this seems to be it. The staff is very nice and helpful and the Pho was delicious.

Along with the most delicious Chicken Pho, I think your Vietnamese Beefsteak is one of the best in California. I have never eaten anything that great for awhile. This is easily the best Vietnamese Beefsteak (Bò Né Bí Tết Bánh Mì) in Southern California. The filet mignon steak is juicy, soft, and delicious. As you said that your restaurant makes your own special beefsteak sauce from beef bones to create the salty and sweet flavors for the steaks without adding any artificial flavors or msg. I think your steak is of premium quality and is the best choice amongst all steaks without adding any unhealthy preservatives/additives.

I love to take out a small piece of baguette (bánh mì) and dip it in the steak sauce. Look at the healthy, delicious steak in a sizzling cast-iron pan with a small piece of wood underneath the pan. This is the traditional Vietnamese style to cook beefsteaks. In addition, you guys can serve the dish with a plate of salad and tomatoes to make my meals healthier. Thanks so much!

I know you don’t want to cook the steaks under extreme heat because it will cause future complicated health consequences to your customers. So, you always use mild heating temperatures to cook the steaks and rim the steak for as long as you can until it’s midium-rare cooked for our health concerns. You care about us and put a lot of artistic dedications to make the highest-quality dishes with great health benefits for us to enjoy. The restaurant creates a romantic, relaxing, elegant, and comfy environment for us to take our family and friends to "climactically" enjoy

The Chicken Pho is very unique and is one of the best chicken Pho in Southern California. As you mentioned to me, your restaurant adds 40 pounds of chicken bones in a pot to create the chicken Pho broth/soup daily. At the same time, you add 80 pounds of beef bones in a small pot to make Beef Pho broth. This tremendous amount of chicken and beef bones allows the broth to taste so sweet, delicious, yummy, and healthy without msg. Also, I really enjoyed our Seafood, Tofu, and Veggies Pho (Phở Rau Đậu Hũ Hải Sản). It’s very yummy, healthy, and delicious. Indeed, broccoli and bok choy along asparagus are kings of vegetables that act as panaceas and can cure cardiovascular, coronary heart, stroke, and muscles diseases as well as making our bones, tendons, ligaments and tissues stronger.
