Taboon Express Garden Grove

As soon as I walked in, the employee manning the register welcomed me and asked if I had been there before. I had not, so he started explaining the complex looking menu which is actually pretty simple. I then ordered the beef shawarma entree which came in a to go box, but was very filling and the box came in handy as I could not finish it. Came with more food than expected.

Love this place! Have gotten take out twice and my husband and I are obsessed. He gets falafel and I get chicken shawarma. So lucky we found this place so close by. Will be ordering a bunch of food for my baby’s b-day celebration. She loves the hummus and I know the rest of the family will love the food too- can’t miss!

Update 1/6/24- this place is still freakin good. We ordered a bunch for my baby’s 1st birthday and everyone remarked how delicious the food was. We got takeout for dinner again tonight and I tried the Greek salad for dinner tonight and it was really good. Toddler loved sharing my husband’s falafel bowl and hummus with pita. Always a solid meal when we get takeout here. Thank you Taboon!

We stumbled upon this place by accident. Talk about a happy accident! Hands down the BEST medditeranean food I've ever eaten. Moe was extremely friendly and helped us place our order. We live out of town, but would come back just for this place! My husband doesn't love most Mediterranean food, but raved over this. Eat here!!!

I'm not the best with words so forgive me. The food and people here are wonderful! Mo the manager was especially kind and generous. His service combined with the delicious food was so comforting to me, especially since I was having a bad day. I was very impressed by this new location and I'll definitely be returning. The only thing that would make it even better is if something could be done about the ceiling fan/light combo and placement as it makes the lights flash, especially noticeable for people with sensory issues.
