Great quality, friendly atmosphere, definitely going to be a regular!
A hidden gem in Garden Grove. Japanese owned omakase that focuses on seasonal offerings. Ben and Ayako make you feel welcome once you walk in those doors. The menu is hand written and you can see the focus and care that Ben puts with each piece of nigiri. If you want to come and get a bite, make sure you make your reservations at least 2 weeks in advance.
It is a hidden gem in Garden Grove. Not easy to make a reservation and they don’t take “walk in”.
Chef Ben is very skillful at making sushi. You either get the 8-piece Omakase or 10-piece option or 12-piece selection.
Price is very affordable if you don’t drink alcohol.
They have good options for appetizer as well.
Always a lovely, lovely experience coming to Taria Sushi! We had the pleasure of coming back here twice within the last month -- We recently came to celebrate our anniversary and my boyfriends birthday. Both times, we opted out to have the 12 piece omakase and starters to share.
Chef Ben and Ayako are a wonderful couple who truly care about the guest experience, their food quality, and overall ambience of the restaurant. We sat at the counter both times and Chef Ben and Ayako remembered us - we even sat in the same spot as last time. The intimate bar omakase experience is a must!
Ayako's attention to detail coupled with Chef Ben's knowledge of his ingredients and technique truly make the dining experience elevated.
Such a great experience! The sushi was sooo flavorful and good. We got the appetizer platter or whatever that was good too but not all of those were a hit for me, but the sushi was all drool worthy!! Cool experience as well and the chef and his wife were both very sweet. Staff was all very attentive.
Highly recommend if you want an affordable, high quality omakase experience.
I went here tonight with my family and all 7 of us enjoyed everything they brought out. Ben and Ayako own and run the resturant and are so sweet. We ordered the 10 piece omakase with the appetizer plate. Ayako explained each piece that came out and taught us which order to eat them in. I would eat this everyday if I could! Thank you for such a great dinner!
