Sunny's Restaurant

Nice family friendly diner near Goldenwest College. Been coming here for years.

Food: Decent at the least. Burgers, sandwiches and breakfast is what you expect to be good at a place like this... and it does not disappoint. I love the salad dressing and iced tea as well.

Price: a little pricey for a diner. But this is HB so it’s not far from expectation.

Service: In the past, I was never impressed with the service at Sunny’s. But in the past year it has been much better. I would say GOOD service basing it on 2018 forward. Maybe they have some new waiters or management. Not sure, but quality recently.

We never have to wait to get seated. That’s important.

I can go to Denny’s for the same food and maybe a bit cheaper. But I like the atmosphere here and great location.

The service was nice. It was my first time there. The food I ordered wasn't that great. It was a turkey and swiss omelet and they just took a slice of processed cheese and sat it on top and it wasn't even melted. They may have other good food though. But that was disappointing

I was very impressed the service was great, the food was super super good excellent I should say. The whole place was very clean. I would definitely recommend Sunny's. I also will be returning. Oh plus their coffee is the best I've had in a long time

Good food, our server was great. He was so accommodating and friendly. I got all the coffee refills I needed without having to ask. lol We will definitely go back!

Good value for the price. Better than the majority of "family restaurants". Loved my steak. It was 3/4" thick and cooked medium rare. New England clam chowder was good but tasted more like a gumbo soup. Service was helpful and freindly. I do building maintenance as a job and noticed the place looking very clean and despite being an older building well maintained- certainly the best in this area for a family style restaurant.
