Been coming to this spot for years. Definitely one of the best authentic mexican spots around. Everything here is good.

The food is not bad here but for the price I feel it should be better. They are pretty attentive and tend to get orders wight. Although sometimes the staff doesn't really understand what you may mean at first. If your looking for something quick that will be maybe a little above average it's a good place to go. I reccomemtd caliente down the street- more tex- Mex, or Gloria's near smart and final off of Pomona and 19th in Costa Mesa. Los primos Mexican food is definitely not bad tho.

Only ever had their breakfast burritos. They are ALWAYS great! The amount of food they wrap up in a tortilla is defies the laws of physics! Try the Chorizo burrito or the Gringo!

Now I’m only going to vouch for the burritos, because it’s the only place our family and extended family goes to get them when we are feeling too exhausted make them ourselves. That right there speaks volumes from a Hispanic family with deep culinary roots. This quaint family run “take-out” focused restaurant has seating for small parties of 3 or 4 and is self serve for most of its amenities. (The chips and salsa bar- order at the counter) The burritos are sizable and feed the hunger of the construction worker uncles and growing teen boys with ease. While aunties and grandma lovingly split them in 2 and make multiple meals out of them. Nothing fancy but good genuine Mexican food for our local communities is what this family has been serving ours for almost 2 decades.
