King Fish House

This restaurant is wonderful! The food and service are both top-notch. The atmosphere and ambiance are warm, inviting and welcoming. We absolutely love this place!

The atmosphere is completely charming. It is comes across as an upscale seafood diner. Very unique. It is a local chain restaurant but, done with the care of a family owned. The service was excellent. The problem is with the quality of the food and, portion size. They steamed clams were good but, the portion very small. A steaming pot came out, with good presentation but, the lid came off and, it is like...oh, that is disappointing. The grilled Uno, I sent back. It was dry and, tough. I am not sure if they grilled it dry, without oil, or, if it was overcooked. But, if I am going to spend $25. on a piece of fish, it should at least be fairly good. It would be nice to see the quality of food come up to meet the same level of the service and, atmosphere.

The World Class Tuna Melt was an excellent sandwich. I got it with sourdough instead of the rye. BBQ shrimp and fried calamari are also great appetizers to have!

WOW! Great restaurant! We had a party of 5 and all the food was excellent! The warm sourdough bread was a hit. All the deserts are made in house. Manager and wait staff were attentive to all the customers. Nice long bar area with a great selection.

Always good seafood here. Update: just returned to Kings Fish House last night. We ordered the one and a half pound spiny lobster tail. It was absolutely delicious! to accompany it was baked potato with all the toppings and fresh grilled asparagus. The other order was the macadamia crusted halibut which I highly recommend. Whenever I can't decide I usually order their trout almondine or the macadamia crusted halibut you can never go wrong with either of those choices. service was great! We had four people at different times come to our table and each treated us like they were the only one taking care of us. Great food, great service and a relaxing patio with warming heaters.
