Beachwood Pizza & Beer

Waiter "Luis" came across as he didn't want us there I had to snapped at him to take our order but as the food was actually delivered I forgave the fool. The food is Amazing. Pricey but darn it it was Amazing.

Went to this new spot strictly for the pizza. We got a cheese pie and their version of the Hawaiian (Johnny tsunami). Inside the joint was very nice. Staff was competent and friendly. Wait time was about 20 minutes for the two pies. I saw the chefs in the back grating some parmesan on the cheese pie as the final touch before bringing it out. These guys seemed to care about their craft. We tried a slice on the street right out of the oven to give it a fair chance to impress us. The cheese looked fantastic. Perfect amount of flop. Nice undercarriage. Our favorite attribute of this pie was the dough. Perfect balance of crisp and chewiness. Flavor was on point. Good amount of cheese, not too much not to little, also not too greasy. I will say the pizza was lacking just a little more sauce. If I could have had just 1-2 more tablespoons of sauce to give the pie a little more acid from the tomato, this could have easily been a high 7’s low 8’s pie. My rating 7.3. I can’t forget to mention the big portions. Definitely worth the cost. Pass on the ranch - not worth the 75 cents, save it to tip your servers. We will be back to dine in and try some beer too. Very happy to have Beachwood Pizza & Beer in the neighborhood!

$30 for a two topping pizza is kind of steep. Pizza crust is as good as advertised. Beer selection is more than plenty and delicious too. It is loud inside and difficult to have table conversations.

Wonderful pizza! This is one of the best pizza spots in HB, definitely on my top list. Awesome beer selections, cool indoor and outdoor spots to hang out at. Kind staff! Would recommend!

We went last night for the Grand Opening. While there are still understandably some operational efficiencies that need to be worked out, the pizzas were delicious. Beachwood is already proven to make great beer. I hope they can add some plants or noise suppression for the back hallway style room so that it is easier to converse. It would also be nice to not be required to walk back to the front counter every time you want to order another beer. I would also like to be able to order a tasting flight. I’m hoping some of the details will be worked out soon as I am looking forward to returning.

Pizzas are large and very tasty.
