Shades Restaurant

At the first moment you come to this restaurant the waiters give you a pleasant feeling. Very congenial team, it is a lovely place to to go out with your friends or with your date. enjoyable meals, professional chef de cuisine, comfortable price and excellent service. Highly recommended.

This is a gem and my new favorite restaurant. After traveling around southern California the past week we have eaten at many restaurants and nothing surprised us until Shades. Every dish has an excellent display and wonderful flavor. The steak was one of the best steaks I've ever had and the mussels were without a doubt the best I've ever had. Well done Shades! Thank you.

The Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort does all things first class. One would be hard-pressed to find better food, a better atmosphere and better service than what is offered at the lovely Shades Restaurant for Sunday brunch. We were there the morning of the Blue Angels Air Show in October, and you would think that would be entertainment enough. (It was spectacular, by the way.) On this particular Sunday a magician - a sleight of hand specialist - wowed the four of us with tricks that were not only mind bending, but fork bending, too!

You have to get the chubby sauce. It has a tiny kick to it but itssss soooooo yummmmyyyy Taco Tuesday eat in the restaurant on top of a great view when you sit outside you get a great deal

Beautiful steak meal in the evening. Breakfast was pricy but a good selection on the buffet. Had the salad for lunch which was very reasonably priced and delicious. Friendly staff.
