The Stand

Great reviews = great expectations.... unfortunately that equation leads to a disappointment more often than not, just because of that "higher" expectation stemming from the great rating..... I liked the atmosphere, vibe, interiors, and was excited to try this place, but was a let-down.... perhaps I ordered the wrong thing, I mean, it was supposed to be a great American burger joint; I should have ordered just a regular cheese burger not the fancy "braised short rib burger"... Meat was not tender even though it was "braised".... I will give an another shot to be fair and will update this review afterwards...

Great burgers with good beer. They have heated seating in the plaza for the chilly winter nights. Their stand burger is awesome !

This place is a must eat joint! The stand burger with cheese, brussel sprouts, grilled cheese short rib sandwich and even the kids hot dog was great! Forgot to mention the fries with buffalo sauce, all the above was super good! Also got one of the salads..forgot which one but it was a legit salad! Nick at the front counter is cool and knows his stuff! Most of the above was off his recommendations and it was all good! Good choice of beers too. Apologies for the run on review but stop reading this and go enjoy some delicious food at the stand!

I had the Seared Ahi Tuna 2.0 Sandwich. It had the potential to be good, but really lacked flavor. Would probably not order again. Otherwise nice place and location. There's a lot of shaded seating outside.

One of my all time favorite hot dog stands. They have burgers and sandwiches as well, but the options are endless. Ever tried a fried egg on a hot dog? Do it! I love their fire dog with chili and cheese, and don't forget the chili cheese fries. Excellent. Seriosuly, this place is so good. Also check out some of their desserts, or just keep mixing and matches your toppings until you have the winning dog!!
