Korean Comfort Food at it's finest! Seriously the best comfort food place I have ever been to. The waitress first brings me this nice hot tea and 5 small side dishes called banchan. I ordered the Bulgogi Rice Plate and WOW! I'm impressed at all the combination of flavors on this single plate. The banchan is a great palate cleanser! This place is literally 7 minutes from my office, so I'll definitely be coming back here again soon. :)

DELICIOUS AND BIG PORTIONS. I am veg and there were 3 options available at 9:30pm. The mushroom rice was delicious and the kimchi had a great sweet kick.

Quality has reduced in the past 6-12 months, but nice presentation, quick service, and decent small plates. I love the octopus plate.

Excellent Korean joint in Irvine. I have to up this place to 5 stars. Fairly long lines even on weekdays. They have nice, clean broth in the beef soups, I couldn't detect any MSG. The soup portion size is controlled and not too big. I like the simple taste of the beef broth, but it is bland in comparison to SE Asian broths. My son gets the monster huge fried pork chop, it is good and crunchy. I usually get the Kalbi-Tang, it looks most popular. Bimimbap is good and fairly standard. Very good quality control and consistent with their food. Mostly Asian inside so it probably is authentic.
