Great little place with great food. Delightful array of sushi, sashimi, and various dishes. Quality ingredients masterfully prepared. Tried many menu items and was impressed with all of them. The restaurant is not large so probably not great for very large groups, but well worth a visit. Pricing is fair.

this is one of our favorite Japanese restaurants. The food is always good, the service is always accommodating. The prices are fair for what you get. My wife and I always order the bento Box a, and we very it so that we can have a little bit off of each other's play. There's more than enough food for us to bring home doggie bag and have a little snack for dinner. I would give this five stars, but the restaurant is a little small. The tables are put clothes together, and that makes moving around difficult as well as having a more private conversation. However, because the food is so good, we keeps coming back.

This is a cozy spot for excellent authentic Japanese izakaya style dining. The sushi bar is top notch. Everything is fresh, tasty, and fairly priced. Sagami is easily the best spot for sushi in Irvine and a great dinner date location. Try the chef special!

Great little Japanese place that's more on the traditional side. Can be a little pricier than some other Japanese places, but it's worth it - fish quality is excellent. Service is usually good, sometimes a bit slow, but they never rush you, which is really nice. Great for dates if you're trying to talk without getting interrupted. Tables fill up quickly during peak times and turnaround can be pretty slow so it's not as convenient for a quick bite. Definitely my favorite Japanese restaurant around here though. The premium chirashi is excellent and the omakase was prepared very well.

Authentic Japanese. Quite extensive menu of cooked items and sushi. Small restaurant, but great service and high quality food.
