Came here for the first time with my girlfriends. We ordered couple drinks (mine was the Dave's favorite honey blonde), hot wings and this plate (for two). I've had high hope as I remember when it first opened there were lines outside the restaurant. After my visit, food wise, I think it's OK, not bad but not great. My friends all ordered couple cocktails and they said they're pretty good ($10 per).
The restaurant is not quiet so perfect for girl's night out. I love the waitress that served our table that night. Wonderful experience.
The food & the service was great! Our server Jonathan made us feel right at home. Way to go Jonathan!
The BBQ was great! The regular make your own burger was just ok. The service was very good and it was not super crowded on Sunday after church. I would definitely recommend the rib tips!
It has been 2 years since we last ate at a Famous Dave's location in Oregon. While the sauces were the same and delicious, the service was excellent, the interior nicely decorated, modern and arranged, the food was not what we remembered. Brisket was cold and unseasoned and a little tough, the chicken looked perfect but undercooked, the ribs were not super tender and the sauce was very thick and seemed baked on. Maybe they were just dry. The corn was flavorless and a little dry. I make better corn roasted on the grill with salt pepper and a dab of butter, grilled but not overcooked. Maybe these were boiled and kept warm too long? The JoJo potatoes were the BEST I've ever had anywhere. I could have eaten them all. Super crispy outside and perfectly done inside with a hint of sea salt. Great vehicle for the sauces. Beans and coleslaw were typical. Overall, the food was simply not the same and seemed previously cooked and re- heated. We used to eat at famous Dave's fairly frequently. It was an okay experience. As I said, the service was fantastic but the food just okay.
Went in for a quick rib fix and left with a full tummy and comedic experience. Our server, John, was amazing and very funny. He also went above and beyond his call of duty by searching through balled up napkins in the trash, looking for my retainer, which by the way, was inside of my purse.... He jumped into action and was happy to do so. Thank you John for making our lunch memorable.
