Great service, food and ambience. Great for happy hour as well

I had high hopes for this place because it's been talked up by friends. Went here for OC restaurant week and I tried their calamari, their steak with sunny side up eggs, and finally both their cheesecake and apple turnovers. Calamari was unique, very buttery. It was a lot for an appetizer and I didn't finish it. The 8 Oz cut of steak I had wasn't prepared medium rare like I asked so that was one downer. I thought they burnt the edges too and I didn't appreciate my steak to be crispy. The redeeming thing of the restaurant was the apple turnovers. I would order these by themselves. It even comes with a small scoop of ice cream.

The building, the ambience and staff are great. It is really beautiful. However, their upscale priced food lead me to believe that it would be extraordinary; in reality, the quality was more like something you'd find anywhere around Irvine, and spending/waiting time much less. Like another reviewer said, this wouldn't impress anyone who is a true foodie (example: their dessert beignets were donut holes, not beignets).

Been herea few times and never disappointed. We had our company event here and staff was great. The food and drinks are amazing and is conveniently right off of the main intersections. One down fall is the parking. They have valet however, on a busy night you can wait for a long time.

You don't come by many Andrei's Conscious Cuisine & Cocktails in the city which is why I'm so grateful to have found this place! The atmosphere is great, staff was super friendly, and the food was delicious!My only complaint is there is no beer on tap... however, I will happily sacrifice it for all the good it offers and be back soon!
