Very good food friendly staff.I eat here at least twice a week.

Delicious food? Undoubtedly. But a little annoyed with getting things we didn’t ask for.

Pro Tip - if you have exclusively English speaking customers, it might be best to have a waiter/waitress that speaks English proficiently. Now, that’s not to say our waitress wasn’t nice, but she asked whether we wanted ice water or hot tea and we said water. She proceeded to bring us hot tea but I didn’t have the heart to be mean, it’s a small mistake.

However, we asked a question about whether she recommended one soup over the other and she thought we were asking the difference (which is still fine) but we just decided to go with one of them. She then proceeded to bring us both options even though we made no indication that we wanted both. So we ended up with extra food that we couldn’t really handle eating and spending more than we intended.

Love this place but the food is a tiny bit bland...needs more salt in certain dishes. But the menu is authentic and the food definitely represents. The fish in fermented rice wine is savory, a little spicy, a little sweet, very fragrant, a little garlicky, and pretty addictive! Will be back to try other stuff!

One of the better Chinese places in Irvine. Large portions and can be split with many people. The cold chicken appetizer was very good. The wonton broth was a little watery. I liked most, if not all of the pork dishes. Small restaurant with a lean staff, usually only 1 or 2 servers.
