Great noodle dishes that I would expect in SGV, but surprised to see in this somewhat bougie Irvine plaza. Delicious and not overly priced!

Authentic Chinese rice noodle and appetizers. Free of tips and foods come with good amount. Would recommend to those who want some casual and delicious Chinese food.

This is a newly opened chinese restaurant in Irvine that has a couple of other branches in Los Angeles. They pretty much specialize in noodles, but has other items like dumplings and fried rice. It doesn't seem like a place where you would open a restaurant because its enclosed by tall apartment buildings. But lo' and behold, follow google maps and there's actually a couple of other restaurants next to it too. Parking is limited, but free. However its 30 minute parking, so dont linger around too long.

Food: I ordered their medium spicy Guilin soup and it was pretty good. The rice noodles had a nice chew, but was slightly overcooked. The broth was flavorful and had just the right amount of spice for me. And they had a decent portion of thinly beef that was super tender, which was probably the highlight of the dish. Almost all the dishes are around $10, so a really good deal considering how much food they give you.

Atmosphere: Its clean and simple. Napkins and wooden chopsticks are set on the table. All the dishes come in disposable bowls and plates, no matter if you're getting it to-go or not. No music is running, which is good during busy times but almost too quiet when there was only me and one other table eating right before their closing time.

Overall, I'll have to come back before I make a proper judgement. But for now, I'll give this place a 5 star review just so people will give this place a chance.
