Cute, simple place. I would have give five ???? s if the price of the Toro was not so high for 5 slices of sashimi. Not cool. MP should be slightly higher than normal prices, but not double normal sashimi prices and if they are at least let the customer know first. On a good note...Quality of the food was awesome. Generous pour on the sake and the service was quick, polite and checked in often.

I am looking for generous with my rating. I was extremely excited by the high score, sashimi galore, and relative closeness. Parking was mad, but one needs to know that the parking plaza across the shops is a whole lot for clients. It is free for the first two hours. Otherwise, it's $1.25 for each 15 min. We ordered the traditional B menu with mixed sushi/sashimi. It was great.

We ordered the single seared salmon roll which was drenched in soy sauce; it was very hard to eat since it was so salty, but I could be speaking from an Asian noodle who favors minimum soy sauce. The fatty tuna roll and uni sushi bits were fresh and excellent. And we take partial credit. He was very nice, but when we requested to divide our bill into 2, there was expected hesitation as I understand these things may not be easy for a few restaurant computer systems. But then he started making assumptions for how the bill should be parted.

I was thankful he was trying, but I think that the hesitation and then keen assumption on how the law ought to be awakened was a slight placed off. In conclusion, the bill came unparted. When I noticed and told him it was nice, he commented on how hard it was returned within a moment with the parted bill. We felt it was a possibly five-star restaurant but that the overloading of soy sauce and difficult service made it steer towards a cheap, fast food sushi place mimicking a contemporary hipster expensive sashimi place. I don't state these things easy as, but the pride and resistance I sensed from the server was a regretful experience. With that being said, the restaurant has a lot of potentials and that I was thankful to have experienced.

Fatty Tuna has some amazing rolls and decent sushi. I wish they had more types of fatty tuna, but the fatty tuna they do have is amazing. I would like to see all kinds of Toro served at a restaurant like this, but I will be back when I am back in town.

How much is quality worth to you? Is this one of the pricier sushi options available? Yes. Absolutely no question there, but after tasting what they have to offer, it's totally worth it. Staff was friendly, chef was knowledgeable (and brought our fish out, too!), but the star of the night was the thick, fresh pieces of sushi that literally melted on your tongue. So good, and highly recommended. Just don't go starving or you may walk out broke! ????
