JA Jiaozi Authentic

Awesome place. Fresh and handmade. I have been to a dimsum place that was so authentically Chinese that I could never go without my Chinese friends. This place is great and I could order without the help of my Chinese friends. A little in3 the pricey side, but the flavors and everything were great!

Thought it seemed a little pricey for the amount for portion sizing, but the place was cute, staff was nice, and their food was tasty. You can watch them hand make their dumplings. They do have few kids meal options not listed on the menu and provide children with their own tableware. Bathrooms were clean and they have a changing table (on the women's side, couldn't check the men's).

We went for early dinner at 4pm but restaurant was serving Happy Hour with limited menu until 5pm. Mom had a meeting at 6pm, we ordered multiple dishes on the limited menu.
It was pricey but all dishes were prepared fresh, on demand. Service was great, all dishes were tasty but small portions being HH.
We will return again for a full dinner.

We ordered signature dumplings ( pork shrimp, dried shrimp),shrimp dumplings, braised pork belly with tofu, broccoli and chicken soup. I didn’t care for the taste of dried shrimp in dumpling , but nothing wrong with it , not a thick wrap / skin around dumpling like some places, shrimp dumpling was good, broccoli was good, I am told the pork belly was good and I enjoyed my chicken soup, don’t want or need a hot pepper or spicy chicken soup. High end$$$ Chinese restaurant service was very good. Dumpling was average sized. Lots of staffing to provide service. Yes I can go to neighborhood restaurant and get dumplings as good or better but you have to eat a lot of greasy meals to find those restaurants. Was good place with grandkid for lunch.

Great find! Started with the beef skewers as an appetizer and then explored many of the dumplings over dinner. My personal favorite was the zucchini and egg steamed dumpling. The iced jasmine tea is also a must. They serve in a mason jar which is a cute touch. Atmosphere and ambiance is also very nice and inviting. Will definitely be back!
