Honestly not that impressed with the food… it’s decent but I still can’t believe restaurants still offer ketchup with high fructose corn syrup in it! - which makes me question how much care goes into sourcing other quality ingredients?
we ordered the chicken katsu & the kids chicken fingers & a pancake, all were just very simple.
I did ask the cashier what was the fav items & she had no enthusiasm just said the pancakes are good & everyone likes the plates. After we ordered I notice the pineapple symbol that signified the favorites which I would have preferred to know about. I gave 3 stars bc several other items on the menu look good that we want to come back & try.
All in all staff wasn’t rude, just wish customer service & enthusiasm level was a bit better for an overall better experience.
First time eating here and was not disappointed! That Loco Moco was ono!! For a Hawaiian guy from Utah, visiting California, this place was the bomb! Chicken katsu Loco Moco fo da win!!!
We arrived on a Sunday at noon. The place was busy and the line was long. For how busy it was, we were able to order and get our food in a good amount of time. The counter staff and food runners were very friendly and accommodating. My daughter got the kids pancake and scrambled egg. Even though she was full from a previous meal, she loved the pancake. I tried some and it was great. I got the strawberries and cream Belgium waffle. Usually, places don’t give a good amount of strawberries but my waffle was covered in them! My partner got the chicken and waffles. The chicken was a HUGE portion and the rest of the meal was delicious. I highly recommend the POG juice.
We will definitely be back. I’m so glad there is a great breakfast/lunch place in this shopping center now. The menu has a diverse selection and has something for everyone.
So glad they opened a location here! The other one off Culver was getting too crowded on weekends and there was always a long line. The food is great, especially the home fried potatoes. They were crispy on the outside and soft like mashed potatoes on the inside. Definitely worth getting even as a side of your dish does not include them.
