Isla Cuban-Latín Kitchen & Rum Bar

Tea service and taste of the food is outstanding! I was fortunate enough to meet the owners and manager. The staff is an extension of their kindness and willingness to make your experience absolutely wonderful. I saw while I was eating a couple of dishes being served to other guests, dishes that I must come back and try :')) They looked absolutely delicious! I must add this, the owners care enough about your experience that they personally come to your table to make sure everything is okay along with finding out if there's anything they can do to make the experience any better. This to me is a sign of true ownership!
I could not eat another bite so I am forced to go back several times just to enjoy them. On the positive side, it's nice to want to go back to a place you had a wonderfully positive experience at and also look fwd to seeing the Mgr & hopefully the owners again.

This is an update to my previous review. I reviewed when it was first open.

When we arrived the restaurant was busy and about half full. We sat at the bar and waited to order. We noticed that the restuarant continued to fill up and soon had a seating problem. This being midweek we hoped that meant good this.

It did, and didn't.

Overall the cons for the visit was the wait. It was probably a contributing factor to the seating issue. The kitchen and servers seemed slow.

Sitting at the bar usually means prompt service and constant offers of drinks. Neither happened.

We waited to get drinks, get food and to reorder drinks. Not a great experience.

The pros: Though a bit on the pricey side, the food was well made, flavorful and seemed to be made to order.

If you have the time and this type of food is something you enjoy give it a try, but make sure you aren't pressed for time.

Place continues to amaze me. Food is incredible, service is excellent and atmosphere is fun and lively. Bartenders are great but have to say that head guy, Oscar, is a gem. He comes up with creative concoctions that aim to please. Owner, Mo, is a gracious host and has managed to create a super special place that I highly recommend to everyone.

Wow!!! This Restaurant is amazing! Our waitress Stephanie is such a sweet heart and made sure everything was going well with our visit. The food, AMAZING & DELICIOUS!! Highly recommend this restaurant. Definitely coming back!!!

Would have given them a 5 but they messed it up on the surprise. Told them before we sat down regarding a birthday celebrant and then gave the waiter signal 3 times and then had to tell the receptionist again. Found out that they have a live singer who sings to the birthday celebrants. She sang to 3 other ones. Guess who the only one they did not sing for was for my hubby. Then she came back on and sang for the next one.

Food was excellent. Service good. Great ambiance and music.
