Ruby's Diner

I visited Ruby's dinner with 7 other family members and it was a mixed experience for some of us. The positives: Great location, few steps from the ocean front & a great dinner vibe. I ordered the crispy chicken burger with a side of soup. The burger was really good, as was the soup (however, it was luke warm). My sister ordered the same but they never put her order in, so she had to re-order it. My brother ordered the impossible burger and said it was delicious. My other brother put in a VERY specific order of just a bun, grilled chicken & barbecue sauce (no lettuce, tomatoes, mayo). They gave him lettuce, tomatoes, mayo. He returned it and they gave him back the same burger without lettuce and tomato but left the mayo. He complained. They offered to make him a new burger (he refused, and they never charged him for the burger they screwed up). The rest of my family loved their meals.

Just make sure you are specific about your order and don't hesitate to say something if you are unhappy - they will be more than glad to make sure youre happy!

The ambiente is good . They have some cool stuff in there. Old telephone.. cool bike.. and just some pretty cool frames . We had a really nice guy take care of our order. He came back again and again to check on us. I wish I could of remember his name. The food.. it's regular to me.. with a slightly higher price. It's like a ten dollar burger but.. not quite there on the taste. I did like that you get free refills on drinks and no limit on fries. The cars outside were classics. The boys liked those a lot.

The quality is awesome. Way above typical diner food. The eggs and turkey sausage are fresh. Potatoes are hand cut and grilled with onions on the flat top. Great texture and flavor. The decor is cool, of course. Thumbs way up.

We ate on the roof top with an ocean view. Excellent wait staff. Funny and timely and very good with our order and requests. I really love this place and the food was good! I had the fish and chips. YUM! The milkshakes are amazing. Good prices too.
