Great food and service. We want to try the mussels and weren't disappointed! The blue cheese was very good but the mustard Brandy special was to die for. It's a better deal to have the big portion since it doubles the number of mussels and includes the pomme frites. Just found out the have AYE mussels on Tuesday nights!!!
Love this place! Tried the Mussels in the Blue Cheese cream broth and it was outstanding! I paired that up with a Gluten Free Belgian Beer (Green) which was went down well! With another location now in San Clemente we look forward to our next rendezvous.
So delicious! Mussels in 5 flavors! Belgium beer transcends you back to Belgium. Glasses that r made by beer maker... Makes the beer awesome! So awesome!
This was a wonderful experience all around. The restaurant reserved for by our hotel as a part of our anniversary trip was lost by the restaurant, so we were fortunate to find Brussels Bistro thanks to Google Maps!
We were warmly greeted by the hostess who sat us near the fireplace in the quieter part in the covered patio, away from the bar.
The service was beyond amazing! Our server, Luigi, and the rest of the team took wonderful care of us, including serving us warm delicious sourdough bread while we waited for the entrees that he suggested.
My wife had the beef burgonnione and I had the marinated pork shank. Both were out of this world gustatory delights! We were both very satisfied without being overstuffed. Luigi made sure that we had everything that we needed, including great conversation!
The evening was capped off with a wonderful chocolate mousse with a sparkling firework on top to celebrate our anniversary, courtesy of the Brussels Bistro. Again, a wonderful experience all around. We wish we had gone back the next night instead of going to the restaurant suggested by our hotel. Thank you again Luigi and your team! We look forward to the next time we visit!
this is a cool little hole in the wall place! during the day they have a little pub/bistro and then late in the evening they open the doors for some house music and a dance floor! the music is incredibly loud so if you have sensitive ears...here is your warning! The DJ was throwing down some tight beats and the dancing was fun. the only con is that they have one restroom and when its crowded the line can grow quite long. The beach is just a hundred yards from the bistro so when you want to get some fresh air it's a nice place to take a walk as well. I would highly recommend!
