Fuddruckers

The burgers here are still good. It does seem that they have stepped the activities down a bit from their heyday. I know that it's not politically correct to hang sides of beef in the store anymore, but I miss the originality and the nostalgia of the old place. With that said, I have to say that they're Burger is top quality. I asked for medium rare, and it came out medium rare. Perfectly seasoned, and their buns are unequaled in the fast-food realm. Truly, the buns make the burger. Now for condiments. They charge extra for avocado bacon and cheese, but it's well worth it. The avocado was fresh, and perfectly sliced to cover the burger without being slippery and creating an unstable structure. nothing worse than having your entire Burger fall apart because of a slippery layer in the stack. The other condiments are well laid out and very fresh. The dill pickles are not as salty as I prefer, but will season up the burger nicely. One small nitpick is the fact that the main mustard dispenser is actually honey mustard. They have true yellow mustard in a separate bottle, but the main dispenser has honey mustard. I'm not a fan, but others may enjoy that more. There is an urn of melted cheddar cheese to go on the fries. I highly recommend it. Also, they have a special going on right now for a Cajun Burger. Sliced sausage and peppers on top of your burger for a beautiful heart attack treat. Fries are wedge cut. They're very good if you like that kind of fry. I'm more particular about my fries so I didn't partake, but I ate a few of my friend's and they are well seasoned. I've had the milkshakes here in the past and can attest that they are top notch. Well made in the old fashion style. Hand-dipped and mixed in a tin cup. If you want a good burger, this place doesn't disappoint.

The food was good. Service was good. Large space for big groups. Great place for teams to meet up and enjoy a meal. Lots of good choices.
Personally I like the exotic burgers.

I love that the condiments and veggies are set up for customer's to build their burger as they please. Perfect place for lettuce wrapped burgers!

We hadn't been here in many years. The burgers were still great, but so much of the fun had been stripped away from this place. The memorabilia that had been all over the walls was 90% gone. The arcade games were down to only a few, with the rest being replaced by prize games (think claw games), several of which were broken (claws wouldn't even close and others that had bent claws). It was such a disappointment.
I stretched what would have been 2 stars to 3, only because of the food, the pleasant staff, and the cleanliness.

I visit the Fuddruckers in Lake Forest, CA. They have the friendliest staff and they make you feel welcome every time you visit. All the managers are great. They even say goodbye when you leave the store. I think they make the best burgers in town. The buns are freshly baked and all the extras in salad bar setup are well stocked. It is even a great place to watch a game. They have several arcade style games to keep the kids entertained when they are done eating. It is definitely the place to go when you are in the mood for a GREAT burger!!
