Bagels & Brew

My first meal in the Orange County area. Loved the bagels and the coffee, service was impeccable, place was neat. It’s w great place to come have a quick breakfast with a friend. Would definitely recommend.

I think the Lake Forest location of Begals and Brew is the best spot of the 3 locations they have. The staff here is more attentive at Lake Forest. They serve good quality food, great Begal sandwiches. I really like this place, only complaint I have that it's not across the street from where I live because I'd probably be here every morning for breakfast. Now that I'm back home in NYC I miss this place everyday.

I would give them 5 stars but they have issues with toasting their bagels. We have figured out that it goes like this:
Single toast is luke warm
Double toast is warm but still soft
Triple toast is just this side of burnt.

So 2.5 toasts would be just right but there is no way to do this.

Love the Bagels and sandwiches at this place. While they've improved on their customer service and making sure tables are clean for customer use, the last time I was there I was disgusted to see an employee us the broom that she had just cleaned underneath each bagel bin on the floor as well. That's so unsanitary. This place needs some training on cleanliness. Other than that, one of my favorite bagel places.

I love this place for breakfast. I normally order the Sunrise Ole on onion bagel and of course coffee, but I also may get an omelet or Bagels lox and cream cheese. I think the prices are pretty reasonable. Sometimes it can get very busy on the weekends, and you may not be able to find an open table for a little while, so plan accordingly.
