Anjappar Express - Chettinad Indian Restaurant

We (5) had on 23rd February went to this restaurant to eat South Indian Food. We ordered Idli, Dosa, Masala Dosa, Sambar and tea. It was really great and tasty food. The food reminded us of India. The tea was excellent. Nice guys working there. If we ever get a chance we would love to go back. I highly recommend it.

I got the butter chicken and the garlic naan, and they were great. They also gave me an extra side of fried cauliflower on the house, and it tasted like fried chicken, which is definitely a plus.

It was great food I had this afternoon. Food was fresh and well prepared.

Service provided was the best part. There was no waiting and delay in serving. People are polite and helpful too.

I would like to visit back considering better service and quality food.

Enjoyed my masala dosa. The sambar was good and spicy. Served with two chutneys in plastic cups which were nice but prefer they would be served in something other than plastic for dine in. I think this place has the best dosa around the area and am glad I tried it. Nice guys working there. Slow service but the food was nice and hot. In a part of the country without a lot of South Indian places, this place does a pretty good job! Oh FYI parking is HORRIBLE around this strip mall. Be prepared to wait or go during off hours!

One of the best South Indian fast food place in a prime location in Lakeforest. Plenty of parking spaces outdoors. Excellent service and amiable staff.  Malabar Parotta, Chicken 65, and Goat Sukka are must-try dishes. We also ordered rice combo with 3 curries and a choice of bread. It is similar to a mini Thali with no dessert. Everything was so  flavorful and yummy. Will definitely visit again.
