Olamendis Mission Viejo

The place is rather expensive with small portions. They have good quality food and friendly service. The only thing I don't like is that if you order a chicken quesadilla it comes loaded with sauce because thats the only way that they prepare the chicken. So be ready for an ultra soggy tortilla. I've told them about that and they said they'res nothing they can do.

Place is awesome. This what people mean when they talk about authentic Mexican food. Highly recommend. Chicken tortilla soup is the best I have ever eaten. A little cramped inside but man so good. Even though this a counter service the staff is very attentive. Love this place!

Food is good. Really good. They have mole, and it's worth the price of admission alone. They typically have cantaloupe and watermelon water, as well as potato taquitos (didn't know that was a thing, but it totally works and was delicious). The owner is welcoming and makes you feel like you're an honored guest in his home. Price is neither too cheap nor too expensive; seems just right for the amount and quality. Highly recommend this little gem.
