Peppinos Italian Family Restaurant - Mission Viejo

We went to get some lunch at the restaurant with some out of town friends and were seated outside by the water. We ordered a few things to sample, ravioli with lobster, cioppino, caprese, and a pizza. The ravioli came with generous sauce (good for bread dipping), the cioppino came with a separate side of pasta and the pizza (the works) came with fresh and delectable toppings and the dough was not soggy. Service was prompt and courteous since we were there quite early and were seated as soon as we arrived. Every one in our party seemed to enjoy their selection and commented that the food did not taste salty like most other restaurants. They forgot our caprese and so did we and just remembered it when we were almost done eating. The wait staff was nice when we asked that the order be cancelled. All and all the experience was quite enjoyable, particularly with the seating right by the water.

Always good food and good service! A great neighborhood Italian restaurant!

This is my brother Tom and his wife Barbara's favorite restaurant and when we visit from Reno we usually go there and I see why they like it. The staff are excellent and very accommodating. Great food and reasonable prices. Worth the visit.

Hostess did not greet my family for 5 min. Walked in and just stood there looking for someone; was my family’s first time here. Food was good and our waitress for the night was great. Probably be coming back for the food and service my family received after we got seated.
Hostess is first impression and that was my only disappointment.

Did you know they have happy hour! Yes happy hour with an exclusive happy hour menu. It does not get better than that. Of course there are happy hour drinks on special. I like both the drink specials and the food. This restaurant has great food and is a favorite here in Mission Viejo. What could be better that Italian food and a lake view? They have great pizza, salads, and Italian food classics,
