Koko sushi

The menu and service were ahead of our expectations. I really liked the vibes of this spot. Extraordinary spot to take the family out for lunch.

The best sushi I have had in a long time. SO glad to have found this place (based on reviews I picked it) and now we order a few times a month. I can not wait until they are open so I can dine in.

Very neat and welcoming spot. They provide big portions and for affordable rates. I liked the food very much and the staff members were super welcoming and chatty. Will definitely recommend this spot.

I am so excited to find Koko Sushi! I lived in Costa Mesa for years and my favorite sushi place was near my house. I would walk there on weekends and have the best sushi in Orange county. The sushi chef Luke, became my go-to guy.

His company opened a new location in San Clemente and they transferred him there. The food was still good, but just not the same.

Since then, I have moved to Mission Viejo and found very quickly that there are not a lot of choices for sushi restaurants here. Today I found this new local place and decided to try it out. Lo and behold, the sushi chef and owner is Luke! I was so excited. He is the best and his food is unmatched. I absolutely, highly recommend Koko Sushi to any sushi connoisseurs in this area. You will not be disappointed!

I found Koko Sushi on a happy accident! I started with cold sake, I had two bottles that were equally tasty and reasonably priced. Next I had scallop, salmon, and tuna sushi. The rice was absolutely amazing! Flavorful, fresh, and the fish was really good too. The portion of fish complimented the rice really well. I had two cut rolls salmon lemon, which was the perfect blend of tart and savory. It's filled with avocado, carrots, and cucumber. There was just the right amount of lemon on each piece so that it isn't overpowering. Next, I had a standard Caterpillar roll. So good! The rice was so fresh and the eel was really tasty. I finished my meal with more salmon sushi (so so good!) and yellowtail sushi. Overall everything was fresh and very delicious. The restaurant itself was very clean and the staff was very friendly!
