Gratitude Kitchen & Bar

We came, not sure what to expect. We're always intrigued by vegan and vegetarian cuisine, saw the race reviews on OpenTable so had to try it. Totally worth it. First of all, get the Buffalo cauliflower. Wow. Basically tastes like boneless Buffalo wings. I don't know what the sauce is that comes with it, but we needed more because it was so good. We've had Buffalo cauliflower before... That was good, but still tasted of cauliflower. This tasted like meat, nearly every bite. Second tip - make a reservation. The place was packed, and we saw do many walk ins turned away or made to wait - clearly Gratitude is gaining a reputation, so make sure they have a seat handy for you.

Loved eating here for brunch. Everything is completely plant based and the food along with the service was wonderful. I ordered the flax pancakes and they were incredible. I'm not sure what the butter component was but it was a perfect combination with the light and fluffiness of the pancakes. Some flax pancakes have a tendency to taste grainy but these were incredible. I highly recommend coming here for breakfast and trying their smoothies!

This place is amazing!!! For a vegan, it was a dream come true. Mary, our server, was wonderful and knowledgeable. The food was incredible and the whole menu looked so good- I can’t wait to come back! This place does an amazing job.

Now I love meat and this typically is not my usual fare. However my hippie of girlfriend has now taken me to Cafe gratitude twice now. It's a very nice location. The patio setting is really nice, candles at each table with heaters overhead for the cool nights. The food is absolutely outstanding. I've had 2 different bowls now and both have been packed with flavor.

Love this place! The smoothies and coffees are one of the best in Costa Mesa. The have a nice outside patio with heaters. The vibes are great and the staff is really friendly. Everything is fresh and organic which makes it a bit expensive, but definitely worth it. You should definitely check this place out, if you haven't been here yet.
