The Village Inn

Great place in the heart of Balboa! This time not too hungry we split a club sandwich which came with fries and a couple beers! Good service as well! The roaring fire was very welcoming. Would easily go here again.

Stopped for dinner one night before a conference. The blackened shrimp tacos might be the best I have ever had. We all enjoyed the avocado toast and my companions enjoyed their meal. I highly recommend.

Fish tacos were good, nice atmosphere. Very good music. Nice place to meet with friends.

Wasn't the greatest to be honest. Food was okay but the restaurant presented itself as high class. So unfortunately I had a higher expectations and with that in mind, I started to notice some of the lackluster features. The atmosphere seemed like it was a man's house that decided at his mid life crisis that he can open a restaurant. Food was okay, atmosphere seem liked it was trying, but the service was nice. All the waiters, managers, and bartenders were really thoughtful of their customers. Maybe I'll come back another time to try it again because this place does have nice people and ideas for their menu.

Love this place! Prime rib sandwich, ahi poke, avocado toast, Burger, salad dressings made on sight (the blue cheese and the balsamic vinaigrette are both amazing)..... Have never had a bad meal here. House cocktails are great too!
