Nagisa Restaurant

This quiet little sleepy place off PCH is a must stop!!! Stopped in on a Friday and was greeted with open arms. The restaurant was designed as a Japanese temple. Our service spoke broken English but was extremely knowledgeable about the food. We tried 8 rolls and all were delicious. If you like sushi, this is a must stop in OC

Unassuming place, good food

As usual amazing fish and perfectly made rolls. Love it there. Some items can get expensive due to market pricing but usually worth it for how fresh it is.

Definitely try the halibut and uni. Both fairly local and just amazing taste and preparation.

Also I recommend getting the Spanish mackerel sashimi. It comes with the whole fish and they fry the bones/leftover meat, and bring nit back to the table. It's like eating a mackerel French fry.

This is my all time favorite sushi place. I have been going there for years. The place is small, but has a great atmosphere. Yasu does a great job with presentation. On busy night I sometime order a platter to go. Try it you won't be disappointed.

Quiet vibes, no music or ambiance sounds or TV audio. Felt like I should be whispering while there, and could hear neighbors conversations. Food was solid. A few rolls, a large beer, and some miso soup will set you back around $35.
