Simply great north Indian food. Quiet, comfortable and very friendly staff and owner. This is a big step up from most Indian food in this area. Highly recommended; if you like lamb try the tandoori lamb chops!

I think it's hyped. Had a good meal but it wasn't out of the box or not even that my taste buds went for a ride. Did not like the Utappa. Plus they are expensive.

This place is on point with their dosas! The staff was very nice and the ambiance is great. My husband and I ordered the Chennai Chicken, Avacado Chaat, Vadda Pav Sliders, and Dosas! We both got the masala dosa but next time I'm definitely going to try the truffle dosa based on the review below me. I also tried the Indian monsoon drink and my husband had the fresh mango juice. Very good stuff! You can ask to remove any ingredient from the monsoon drink and their more than happy to since it is freshly made. I am not a ginger person so I asked them not to add the ginger and it was perfectly fine. Overall great experience and highly recommend this place!

Very delicious food. Came here for my first time trying Indian food since I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. Helpful staff helped me find what menu options I could eat and I really enjoyed the flavors of the dish.

Indian is my favorite ethnic cuisine, and Mayur is by far, by far, the best Indian restaurant I've found in Southern California. My wife and mother feel the same. My mother has insisted I take her here every Mother's Day and on her birthday for the past 20 years. (They have a great special Mother's Day buffet brunch.) The dishes are what you find at other Indian restaurants, but they're so much more delicious. The spices are incredibly fresh, you can taste it and feel it the next day. The bread, the rices, the curries, the sizzling tandoori dishes...they're all fabulous. Best meat samosas I've had anywhere. Just order what you like, and you won't be disappointed. Yes, you'll pay more than at your typical Indian restaurant, but Mayur delivers a different culinary experience, and it's always worth it. The service is not always there timing-wise, to be sure (though always polite and well intentioned), but as long as I eventually get fed, I gladly forgive it.
